Mr. Slater, PE & CMRP is a Consultant with over 42 years of Plant Engineering, Reliability & Maintenance Engineering, and has managed storerooms to peak efficiency and optimized inventory levels. He has extensive experience with MRO materials management with a focus on inventory record processes, creation, and conversion from legacy systems to current world class systems (Maximo and DataStream/Infor10 EAM); and setting up the materials in inventory with proper reorder criteria for strategic management and focused on inventory optimization. Also, has been a Reliability and Maintenance engineer implementing reliability practices and has developed asset management processes for several industries: involving equipment master processes, equipment maintenance, and selection of condition based monitoring practices for reliability management and process improvement. HP holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University. He is a Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan since 1983 and became a SMRP Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional in 2002. He is the Training Manager and is a senior consultant for Emerson's Operational Certainty Consulting in the Emerson Automation Solutions division. HP is an engaging and effective conference speaker that raises the bar in making reliability practical and interesting to the audience.
