Glenn Delaney, CMRP

Glenn Delaney, CMRP

Director ' AOS Asset Reliability NA, Aleris International, Inc.
Glenn Delaney is a Maintenance and Reliability professional with 25 years of experience primarily in the military and the aluminum industry. As the Reliability Director for North America at Aleris, Glenn has the opportunity to interact with a wide range of individuals in the aluminum sheet manufacturing process. Glenn is fanatical about bridging the gap between seemingly competing roles within a manufacturing facility and spreading the mantra that 'Reliability is Not Just Maintenance'! His passion for reliability started like most reliability professionals: standing in front of a broken down asset asking the question: What the heck happened here? After years of running from one unplanned outage to the next, Glenn had the opportunity to meet and be mentored by a strong set of reliability-minded individuals who showed him that there was a better way. Never one to be content with the status quo, Glenn continues his search for 'better ways' all while helping to educate others along the way. Glenn graduated from the Royal Military College of Canada with a Bachelor of Engineering. He is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng ' Ontario) as well as a CMRP.
