Bobby Allen has 34 years of acquired skills and experience in plant maintenance, reliability, and leadership, with proven team building skills that produce positive and sustainable business solutions. He is a highly effective manager of resources and projects with a proven background in cost saving initiatives, planning, scheduling, and resource management and is particularly effective in development, implementation, and optimization of maintenance processes. Past clients include companies from the pulp and paper, aluminum manufacturing, tire and rubber, food processing, mining, and medical industries. Bobby joined the Allied Reliability team in 2012 from ABB's Reliability Consulting business. While at ABB, he held a variety of roles, including Senior Reliability Consultant, Site Manager, Deputy Site Manager, Area Maintenance Manager, and Contract Manager. As a Senior Reliability Professional for Allied, he provides organizational assessments and recommendations for improvement, is a Subject Matter Expert for standard job plan development, and is an instructor for the Planning & Scheduling Work Team Certification process. Bobby spent 26 years at a paper company in a variety of roles from Maintenance Technician to Area Maintenance Manager. In his role as a Maintenance Manager, he implemented and championed the precision maintenance program for the entire mill. He has presented at various conferences, including SMRP. He was also a key resource in the Planning and Scheduling certification process for ABB. Bobby began his career with the US Marine Corps, where he achieved the rank of Sergeant Major in the US Marine Corps Reserves. During his last tour of duty, he was the Regimental Sergeant Major of an Artillery Regiment that consisted of 3500 Marines and Sailors, with 5 Battalions and 21 training centers located in 13 states. He retired from the US Marine Corps Reserves in 2007 after 30 years of service.
